Read Explorer after Pathfinder, or after you can already enter Anoikis, preserve a route, distinguish Observation from inference and return without treating the Chain as permanent geography.
The four Parts follow the life of a commitment. Taking Root asks what changes when a visit becomes presence. Keeping Home makes shared state and infrastructure visible. Working Here follows the exposure created by repeated activity. Staying Capable examines degradation, reduction and a deliberate end.
Each Chapter can later be revisited on its own, but the first reading should remain sequential. A decision about access will make more sense after the reader has named what is shared. A discussion of failure will be more useful after the dependencies capable of failing have been made visible.
Five questions accompany every lasting decision:
- What purpose does this commitment serve?
- Who carries it?
- How is its condition made visible?
- What follows if it fails?
- How is it meant to end?
These questions do not replace the working rhythm established in Pathfinder. They extend that rhythm across more people and more time.
Mechanics, interface labels and numerical values in EVE Online can change. This handbook explains relationships rather than promising a permanent click path. When the live client and the book appear to disagree, preserve the difference and verify it against current official information.
