THE ANOIKIS
FIELD MANUAL

VOLUME II · Explorer / Companion texts

Acknowledgements

Every Home in Anoikis is partly made by someone who was there earlier.

Someone named a route, replaced the probes, checked whether a Fuel report was still current or said plainly that an old map could no longer carry the next decision. Most of this work produces no dramatic story. It gives someone else the chance to have one.

The author thanks the Capsuleers who keep shared records honest and hand over unfinished work without hiding doubt. They explain failure without inventing a villain and teach new pilots why a condition matters before telling them which button to press. Explorer owes its shape to that quiet form of competence.

Thanks also to the writers and maintainers of official EVE Online support, developer documentation and Patch Notes. Their work allowed changing mechanics and labels to be checked against a visible Source rather than remembered as folklore. The responsibility for selecting, limiting and interpreting those sources remains with this book.

The Anoikis Field Manual is written for readers willing to pause over consequence, preserve an uncomfortable Unknown and leave the next person a record they can actually use. This volume is offered in the same spirit: not as the final word on living in Wormhole Space, but as a careful account that can be questioned when the field changes.

Any remaining error belongs to the author and publisher. Every correction should begin where the fieldwork begins: show the Source, name the condition and check again.
